History
Gary and his wife Jean Boor, established Gary's Homes
in 1968. Gary and Jean, purchased a very small dealership east of the
current office building called "South Penn Trailer Sales". In
a 10 x 50 mobile office building they earned a strong
reputation for service. With one sales office and a small
parts room, Gary earned his reputation.
South
Penn's dealership was approximately one quarter the size
of the current sales center. In the 1970s the dealership
grew extensively. Purchasing the former Hott's Soft Ice
Cream building and three additional lots.
Gary
wanted to do something to mark his dealership in a unique
way. And so the famous white horse came to Everett. The
well known horse was purchased while vacationing in Florida
in 1970. Gary had many memories of the neighbors's horse.
Tending and playing with them each day as a child. Therefore
upon seeing "the famous horse" he knew that
was what would landmark the dealership. The horse is constructed
of fiberglass and was shipped in from Florida.
The
family owned and operated business has expanded their
product line covering mobile, sectional and modular homes.
Gary's Homes is still known far and wide. For 40+ years Gary and Jean's son Dwayne Boor and their daughter Serena Waller have been involved in the family business. They are also committed to the same quality of service and customer satisfaction that began with their parents over 50 years ago.
Gary's
is focused on strong customer service and faith
in God... elements the business is built upon.
